Commuting

I must say that Chris working a lab rotation at UCSF this summer has been fantastic. Not only have I been getting rides to AND from work most days, but the fact that it coincides with my third trimester is simply wonderful!

We still go to the gym most mornings, and even at that early hour we're able to pick up a 3rd passenger (from the line of people waiting for the bus I used to take) and get across the Golden Gate Bridge for free since 3 people are considered a carpool. Chris's car is very gas-efficient, and he is able to park for free on the street just a few blocks from the lab. Our combined commuting costs have dropped dramatically!

I know I'm getting spoiled though...I think it'll be hard to go back to spending twice as long on the bus once I return to work from maternity leave.
